Do participants need an account?
No. They open the link and add their name and what they’ll bring. On the same device they can change or delete their entry later.
What does a sign-up list cost?
Nothing. Polls is free and shows no ads – for you and for everyone taking part.
Can I say what’s needed?
Yes. When creating the list, you write down ideas such as cake, salad or drinks. Everyone sees which of them someone is already bringing.
What happens to our data?
Polls only stores what the poll needs: its content, names and answers. IP addresses never end up in the database, there are no trackers from other companies, and everything sits on a server in Germany. When the poll is deleted, all its data goes with it.
What happens if I lose the admin link?
The admin link is shown only once – without it, the poll can no longer be managed. If you sign in by email, with no password at all, you’ll find your polls on any device under “My polls”.
How long does the list stay around?
A sign-up list expires 90 days after it was created. 30 days after it expires, it is permanently deleted with all entries. You can also delete it yourself at any time.
