Do participants need an account?
No. They open the link, tap their choice and add their name. On the same device they can change their vote later.
What does a group poll cost?
Nothing. Polls is free and shows no ads – for you and for everyone taking part.
Can people see who voted for what?
No. Polls only shows how many votes each option has – not even the manage page shows who voted for what.
What happens to our data?
Polls only stores what the poll needs: its content, names and answers. IP addresses never end up in the database, there are no trackers from other companies, and everything sits on a server in Germany. When the poll is deleted, all its data goes with it.
What happens if I lose the admin link?
The admin link is shown only once – without it, the poll can no longer be managed. If you sign in by email, with no password at all, you’ll find your polls on any device under “My polls”.
How long does the group poll stay around?
A group poll expires 90 days after it was created. 30 days after it expires, it is permanently deleted with all votes. You can also delete it yourself at any time.
